Business Insider profiles Enveil Founder and CEO Ellison Anne Williams and her pursuit to harness the business-enabling power of homomorphic encryption.
Excerpt: If you think your life is busy, check out what Ellison Anne Williams, the CEO of data-protection startup Enveil, has going on:
Leading a hot startup in a highly regulated area; bringing to market a "Holy Grail" breakthrough in encryption; raising five kids ages 15-8; taking care of three rescue racing greyhounds, two bearded dragons, and two chinchillas; being wife to a fellow mathematician; and swimming and cycling in her free time.
"I've always been hyper-efficient," Williams says in an energetic, staccato voice. "I like to keep 1,000 trains running at the same time. I get really bored if I only have, like, 200 of them."
Enveil investor Bob Ackerman, a cofounder of the venture capital firm DataTribe, says "Working with Ellison Anne is like being inside a Swiss watch."
