With more than 20 years of experience across the technology stack, Jay has served as a technical visionary, strategist and thought leader for several large government agencies and startups. Jay is currently with Datatribe helping invest in and incubate cutting edge startups. He was formerly Chief Architect at In-Q-Tel. In this role, he leads the architectural strategy and vision in support of IQT’s technology investments. Jay personally led investments in over 15 companies for IQT and served as an advisor and mentor to many of them in areas such as product definition, commercial and government market strategy, and execution.
Prior to IQT, Jay held engineering development and leadership roles with Megisto Systems, a startup that developed products for mobile core networks, Hughes Network systems and Motorola R&D.
Jay received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Surathkal, India and his master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park.
